The Student Professional Development Working Group invites students to submit research-in-progress posters covering topics in wildlife science, management, conservation, education, or policy. All undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. students are eligible for this session. Topics are limited to the following categories:
The student-work-in-progress poster session will be held separately from the contributed poster sessions. Posters will be displayed Tuesday, October 5 between 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Authors will be expected to attend their posters during this time. This is an excellent opportunity to receive feedback and suggestions from both professionals and peers. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING ABSTRACTS
The body of the abstract should be less than 300 words and include a statement of the objectives, brief description of methods, principal results (if applicable), and conclusions (if applicable). Include scientific names in the abstract, but not in the poster title. Also, do not abbreviate place names (e.g. state or country) in the poster title.
